On April 4, 2026, the academic staff and students of the Medical Faculty of Jalal-Abad International University actively participated in a regular university-wide community clean-up (subbotnik), organized within the framework of the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on national clean-up activities.

During the event, the university territory and adjacent areas covering 30 sotkas were cleaned. In addition, a 2 km road section—from Jalal-Abad Airport along Kurmanbek Street to B. Osmonov Street—was cleared and improved. Walkways, academic, and recreational zones were put in order. Saplings were planted on the territory of the academic building of JAIU. As a result of the clean-up, approximately 10 cubic meters of waste were collected.

Participants demonstrated a high level of organization, responsibility, and teamwork. Such activities contribute to the development of environmental awareness, strengthening institutional unity, and promoting social responsibility among students and staff.
